1.Why should I choose 80GHz radar over traditional 26GHz or 6GHz radar?
The 80GHz radar has a much smaller beam angle (narrower signal). This means it can avoid hitting tank walls or internal
structures like stirrers, heating coils, and ladders. It also offers much higher resolution, leading to 1mm accuracy compared
to the 5-10mm accuracy of lower-frequency models.
2.Canit be used in narrow or confined spaces?
Yes. The narrow 6° beam angle and adjustable short blind zone make it ideal for stilling wells, flumes, and small-diameter tanks.
3. Is wireless configuration supported?
Yes. The GLT744S has a built-in Bluetooth 5.0 module, allowing wireless setup and diagnostics via a mobile phone or computer.
4. What housing materials are available?
You can choose between PP (polypropylene) or stainless steel, depending on your environmental and corrosion resistance needs.
5. What output signals does it support?
It supports 4-20 mA, HART, RS485, and Bluetooth. Multiple output combinations are available (see ordering guide).
6.What is the operating temperature range?
The GLT744S operates reliably from -30℃ to 70℃, suitable for outdoor and extreme climate applications.
7.How is it installed?
It can be installed using thread (PP-G1.5 or stainless steel G2) or a bracket. Cable entry is PG9 with a standard 10 m cable.
8.What applications is this product best for?
It is ideal for hydrology (rivers, lakes, reservoirs), urban drainage networks, industrial water tanks, and municipal
water/wastewater treatment plants.
